Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Develop, discuss, agree and attain branch annual business plan, operating budget and orders budget by providing an accurate projection of the branch operations. • Project market potential, challenges and threats and devise action plan/s to deal with challenges, overcome threats and maximize Company’ potential opportunities in the market. • Increase market share, clientele portfolio and retain existing accounts. • Ensures availability of sufficient resources and equipment to meet annual business plan • Controls branch budget and ensure resources are allocated in the most optimum way to reduce cost and increase profitability. • Set individual objectives to branch personnel to ensure branch objectives set / agreed by the management are accomplished. • Conducts random site visits to ensure full compliance of all branch activities with the Company’s policies. • Liaise with different functions to streamline branch operations. • Maximize branch profitability. • Liaise with finance department on timely invoicing, recovery of old receivables and collection of new outstanding receivables to ensure proper cash flow and maintain operating capital. • Oversee timely completion of projects in areas of new installation, service and modernization. • Lead different work groups within the branch to complete assigned projects / tasks within the deadlines and allocated budget. • Hire and discipline associates. Assess staff performance, identify performance gaps and set development plans to increase staff productivity and efficiency in all areas. • Improve local competencies by ensuring all employees in the branch are well trained and knowledgeable of all updates relevant to their areas. • Provide reports to the management as and when required. Special required skills: • Minimum 10 years experience in the Elevator industry, of which at least 5 years in a similar role. • Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business Administrations. • Post graduate studies in business administration (i.e. MBA) is a plus. • Fluent in Arabic, English, Urdu is a plus • Strategic thinking skills. • Excellent commercial background. • Project Management skills.
